So yes I, as a child of the 80's I do pride myself on having Depeche Mode, New Order, Bowie, Ministry, ACDC, Echo & The Bunnymen, Simple Minds, even Skinny Puppy etc... on my playlist as well as Japanese artists. But!, I edit my photos to the songs below.
The 80's were the most prolific time for  the most amazing love songs. That many people feel (if you read the youtube comments from each), that music like this won't be made like this again.  Where songs were beautiful in melody, were of higher lyrical intelligence, had a story, a beginning, middle and end, and were deeper and meaningful. They Addressed Love,  In my opinion, they capture the inner beauty of the human spirit and soul.
where men sung to women, women felt for men, and .....it all came from 'the heart'. We were in touch with our heart, and I feel this is very rare now, whereby social media has become an exhibit for attention. This is very different from digging deep, from the place of the Heart. As a kid, I was raised to say ...'thank you, you have heart'.
I pray we have not forgotten our heart.
These songs were once on the radio everywhere, each day, in our cars.
today we see more ballads preserved in Country music, latino Music and Asian Music Instead. I feel a lot of the traditional family values are in these cultures to foster these type of songs.

Thus each time I look at my photos, I scroll while playing these songs below, and, I can feel a connection, a magic, a sincerity, a Majesty, a Soul..these are the deep, the often mushy ones, the ones with no yelling from whitney housten. because these are the deeply sincere ones. they give me an appreciation of being alive.

The List Below I Chose for a Special energy.
